I have been reading in Proverbs lately and I absolutely love this book. There are so many one liners that leave you saying wow! Here are some I came across the last few days:
Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich.
The wise are glad to be instructed, but babbling fools fall flat on their faces.
Lazy people are a pain to their employer. They are like smoke in the eyes or vinegar that sets the teeth on edge.
A woman who is beautiful but lacks discretion is like a gold ring in a pig's snout.
To learn you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction
Worry weighs down a person, an encouraging word cheers a person up.
There are so many more but I don't have the time to type all of them. I have to read these over and over to soak them up. One more...
Whoever walks with the wise will become wise; whoever walks with fools will suffer harm.
Read up, they are a great source of wisdom!

haha i like that "fear the Lord and shun evil!" yes! Shun, thats my fav word!
